Terms of Service

By accessing and using TraceMapper, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the service.

TraceMapper is a network diagnostic tool that performs traceroute operations and displays the results on an interactive map. The service shows latency, packet loss, geolocation, and ASN information for each network hop.

TraceMapper is offered on a free plan and on paid plans: Pro at EUR 9.99 per month or EUR 99 per year, and Business at EUR 29.99 per month or EUR 299 per year (5 seats). Prices are shown in euros on the pricing page and are the prices in force at the time of ordering. A paid subscription runs for the period chosen at checkout (one month or one year) and renews tacitly for the same period at the end of each term, until you cancel. We notify you by email before any price change; if you do not accept it, you may cancel before it takes effect. A 7-day Pro trial is available without a payment card and converts to nothing: it simply ends.

Payment is processed by our reseller Polar Software Inc., which acts as merchant of record. Polar is therefore the seller for the transaction: it collects payment, applies the VAT rate applicable to your country, and issues the invoice, which is sent to you by email and available from your billing portal. We never see or store your card details. Payment is due at the start of each period. If a payment fails, we notify you and access to paid features may be suspended until the situation is resolved.

You can cancel at any time, with no notice period and no justification, from the Subscription section of your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period: your paid features stay active until then, after which the account reverts to the free plan. Cancelling does not delete your account or your data: you can delete those separately, at any time, from the same page.

You have 14 days from your first paid payment to request a full refund, whatever the reason. Write to contact@tracemapper.com and we process it within 24 hours. This commercial guarantee applies to every customer, consumer or business, and is in addition to any legal right you may have.

If you order as a consumer in the European Union, you have a legal right of withdrawal of 14 days from the conclusion of the contract, under article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code. Because access to the service is provided immediately, you are asked to acknowledge at checkout that performance begins at once; under article L221-28 13° this waives the legal right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed. Our 14-day refund guarantee above applies regardless, so you keep an equivalent remedy. To exercise the right of withdrawal, write to contact@tracemapper.com stating your decision.

All content, features, and functionality of TraceMapper, including but not limited to design, code, text, and graphics, are owned by TraceMapper and protected by intellectual property laws.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TraceMapper shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the service.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on the site.

These terms are governed by French law. Any disputes arising from the use of this service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent French courts.
